About the event

From See Tickets's listing

An Evening with Professor David Olusoga Professor David Olusoga presents this brand-new talk in the magnificent surrounds of Worcester Cathedral. Using art, photography, and masterful storytelling, David illuminates intriguing histories through his live talks - revealing often unexpected elements within and exploring compelling new perspectives on a broad range of fascinating topics. These include his previous Hidden Histories as well as his current The Global History Of The British Cup Of Tea. BAFTA-winning David has risen to renown in recent years, becoming prolific and highly respected in multiple spaces. He has twice interviewed US President Barack Obama, reached the finals of the BBC hit TV series Celebrity Traitors, and has enjoyed success on BBC2 with his 3-part series Empire. A fresh instalment of his much anticipated BBC2 series House Through Time is scheduled for this summer. He is of course also the author/co-author of eight books, including Black & British: A Forgotten History, awarded both the Longman-History Today Trustees Award and the PEN Hessell-Tiltman Prize. A Q&A session will follow this talk, as will a book signing - offering you a chance to meet one of the UK's foremost public historians. Don't miss the special opportunity to see David present one of his fabulously engaging talks in such a majestic, magical setting.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Worcester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
