Flowers & Plants Co.: what to know before you buy
Choosing between same-day and next-day
If the bouquet needs to land on the day itself, London addresses are the only ones eligible for same-day delivery, and the order must be placed before 6pm. Elsewhere in mainland UK, the cut-off is 5pm for next-day delivery, and Scotland and some remote areas may take an extra day. Entering the postcode at checkout is the quickest way to confirm what your address allows.
Hand-tied bouquets or arrangements
Most of the collection is hand-tied, meaning the stems are bunched and wrapped for the recipient to place in a vase. That suits gifting well because it works whether or not they own a vase. If you want something display-ready, check the product description before ordering, since the two formats are sold differently.
Picking flowers for the occasion
Roses and peonies suit romance and anniversaries, while sunflowers and gerberas are brighter choices for birthdays. White and green arrangements are a calmer option for sympathy. A seasonal mixed bouquet is a sensible default if you are unsure, because the florists choose what is at its best that week.
Subscriptions and refunds
Subscriptions can be set to weekly, fortnightly or monthly deliveries. For UK subscriptions the merchant states a 14-day cooling-off period. Flowers are perishable, so return claims must be raised within 24 hours of receipt, and refunds go back to the original payment method within three business days of approval.
