Meanwhile, Thor jogs through every realm chasing his daily step count, leaving chaos behind. Each story stands alone but adds fresh texture to the world built across the Magnus Chase trilogy, deepening readers' understanding of side characters like Hearthstone, Blitzen, T.J., and Halfborn Gunderson. Riordan's blend of fast-paced plotting, funny dialogue, and researched Norse lore is on full display, making this an ideal pick for readers who love mythology served with comedy. Because the stories are shorter than a full novel, the book works brilliantly for reluctant readers, bedtime chapters, or dipping in and out.
