Regulated qualifications taught online by a named UK tutor, plus short CPD courses. The catalogue covers GCSEs and A Levels (with International versions), Functional Skills English and Maths at Level 2, teaching and childcare diplomas such as Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Level 4 HLTA and Level 3 Early Years Educator, Level 3 and 5 Adult Care, CMI management diplomas at Levels 3, 5 and 7, Access to HE diplomas and 25 CPD courses.
Each qualification page names its awarding body and qualification number, and the two checked against Ofqual's register match: the TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (610/6988/7) and TQUK Functional Skills Maths Level 2 (610/2624/4). GCSE English Language follows AQA's 8700 specification, and the CMI diplomas are awarded by the Chartered Management Institute. There are two exceptions. CPD courses come with a certificate issued by Lift College itself, which records learning hours but isn't a regulated qualification. And in October 2026 the Access to HE pages gave the awarding body as "TBC Awarding Body", so the validating agency wasn't yet named.
Courses are priced by the month, and paying for a year costs 15% less. In October 2026 GCSEs cost £39.99 a month on Study (tuition, tutor and marking) or £69.99 on +Exams, which adds AQA entry and a seat at a Tutors & Exams centre; A Levels were £49.99 or £89.99. Functional Skills English or Maths cost £39.99 with the exam included, Level 3 Adult Care £69.99 (or £713.99 a year) and the CMI Level 5 diploma £89.99. Because Adult Care typically takes 12 to 18 months, the monthly plan adds up to roughly £840 to £1,260. Monthly +Exams plans carry a nine-month expected term: leaving early costs nothing extra, but unused exam credit is forfeited. There's no credit agreement or credit check, and if payments stop, study stops.
The trial costs nothing for seven days but takes a card, with the first payment on day eight. Skipping it with "Start now" takes 15% off every payment for as long as you study, so Level 3 Adult Care drops from £69.99 to £59.49 a month. For anyone already sure of the course, that lasting 15% is worth far more than a week's delay to the first payment; the trial suits people who want to see the platform and their tutor first.
The terms say any payment can be refunded in full if requested within 14 days of it being taken, with no conditions, and subscriptions can be cancelled or paused from the dashboard at any time. Access runs to the end of the paid month or year, and annual plans renew automatically after a reminder email. The FAQ page words the refund more narrowly (the first payment only, and not once work has been submitted or an awarding-body registration made), so the two pages don't fully agree.
It's very new. Companies House shows Lift College Limited was incorporated on 13 July 2026, and it is listed on the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKPRN 10102267). Its about page describes more than 15,000 learners a year, but its Trustpilot page held a single review in October 2026, so there's little independent record yet of how tutoring, marking and exam bookings work in practice.
The codes on this page, usually a first-payment discount for new learners, are one route, and the site's own savings stack in places. Annual billing takes 15% off, "Start now" takes 15% off every payment, and studying more than one course adds 5% off for two, 10% for three and 15% for four or more. The Price Beat Promise undercuts a cheaper advertised price for the same regulated qualification (same awarding body, level and specification, with comparable tutor support) by 5% for 12 months, though it can't be combined with any other discount or code. CPD courses are a flat £19.99 each, with a free refresher when one is due.

Yes, every course starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is needed at sign-up, the first payment is taken on day 8, and cancelling before then costs nothing.
Its qualification courses name an Ofqual-recognised awarding body and qualification number, such as TQUK's Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (610/6988/7) or AQA's GCSE English Language. Its CPD courses carry a Lift College certificate rather than a regulated qualification, and its Access to HE pages listed the awarding body as "TBC" in October 2026.
For GCSEs and A Levels, only on the +Exams option, which covers awarding-body entry and a seat at a Tutors & Exams centre; on Study the learner arranges exams. Functional Skills and vocational diplomas have one all-inclusive price, and resits are charged at cost.
Yes, from the dashboard, with no exit fee, and access continues to the end of the paid period. On monthly +Exams plans any unused exam credit is forfeited on cancelling.
