About it

Remember when a hopping lamp and a ball became absolute legends? This Lego Ideas set brings that 1986 Disney Pixar magic straight to your shelf, and it's everything your nostalgic heart didn't know it needed. The Luxo Jr. model isn't just for building and forgetting – it's fully posable, so you can recreate every bounce, hop, and playful twist from the iconic short film that started it all. What makes this set brilliant for grown-up Lego fans is the attention to detail. You'll build the famous Pixar Ball complete with hidden Easter eggs referencing Up, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Monsters, Inc. It's like a treasure hunt for Disney Pixar lovers, and honestly, spotting each reference is half the fun. For display purposes, you can even remove two rounded plates from the ball to create a base, making it look like Luxo Jr. is mid-deflation scene. Clever, right? The set comes with building instructions through the Lego Builder app, plus an included booklet featuring interviews from both the fan designer and Lego designers themselves. It's designed specifically as a collectible for adults, making it an ideal treat for yourself or a thoughtful gift for the Disney Pixar enthusiast in your life. Whether you're reliving childhood memories or simply love a quality build with personality, this one delivers without breaking the bank. View the rest of the range here 21357
