Steam: what to know before you buy
Check the product type before you buy
Steam sells several kinds of content, and the rules differ between them. Full games and software are the main category, but DLC, bundles, in-game purchases, subscriptions and hardware each have their own refund conditions. Read the product page before checkout, because some third-party DLC is marked non-refundable there.
Understand the refund window
Steam's official policy says refunds can be requested for games and software purchased from the Steam store within two weeks, provided the title has been played for less than two hours. Pre-release purchases start the fourteen-day clock on the release date rather than at purchase, so a pre-order can be cancelled before launch.
Know where refunds don't apply
Keys bought from third-party retailers cannot be refunded through Steam, and video content such as films and series is generally excluded unless bundled with refundable items. In-game purchases in non-Valve games are not refundable through Steam, so check the in-game item notice at purchase.
Use the store and library together
Your library keeps every purchase tied to one account, which makes it easier to reinstall or track what you already own. For hardware, treat a reservation and a completed order as different stages, and confirm the complete basket and compatibility from your signed-in account before paying.
Questions about Steam
Are there any Steam discount codes?
We don't currently list a confirmed discount code. That doesn't mean the store has no promotions; check its website for current prices.
Where can I check Steam's refund policy?
Read the retailer's current policy before buying. Eligibility can depend on the product, its condition and whether it has been used or activated. Steam refund policy
Can I get a refund on a game I've played for a while?
Steam's standard refund route covers games played for less than two hours and requested within two weeks of purchase. Outside those limits you can still ask, and Steam will review the request, but approval is not guaranteed.
Are Steam refunds available for keys bought elsewhere?
No. Steam says it cannot provide refunds for purchases made outside Steam, such as CD keys or Steam wallet cards bought from third parties.
Who handles my order?
You complete your purchase with the retailer. For order changes, delivery questions or a refund, contact the seller shown on your order confirmation. Vouchernaut publishes shopping guides and offers; we don't process your purchase.

Game Over
Game Over sells gaming bean bags and console seating, mostly aimed at people who spend long sessions on a sofa or floor. The range is built around a few specific features: an ergonomic upright shape, water-resistant fabric, and refillable filling. Designed and manufactured in the Midlands, it suits anyone who wants a dedicated gaming seat rather than a general beanbag.

Cold Case
Cold Case Inc makes browser-based detective games built around fictional crimes. You open a case file inside a fictional police computer system, then examine statements, footage and photographs to test your own theory. Each case is a self-contained mystery with its own difficulty and playing time.

GamingKit
GamingKit sells gaming gear, PC components and accessories, with a catalogue that runs from controllers and steering wheel pedals through to laptops and PC case parts. It is a useful stop for UK gamers and PC builders who want specific peripherals rather than general electronics.

Monsgeek
Monsgeek EU sells aluminium and magnetic-switch keyboards alongside DIY kits, switches and keycaps. The range splits into ready-built boards and barebones kits, so the right pick depends on whether you want to assemble, customise or simply type.

ShopTo.Net
ShopTo.net is a UK online retailer built around video games, consoles, digital downloads and gift cards for PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox. It also stocks TVs, laptops and tablets. Its real strength is games and digital codes, so it suits buyers who already know which title or platform they want.

Stormforce Gaming
Stormforce Gaming is a UK-based builder of gaming PCs. Its systems are assembled and tested in-house, which suits buyers who want a ready-to-run machine rather than assembling their own parts. This profile covers what the brand says it offers and how to approach a purchase.
