About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Moseley Folk & Arts are pleased to present Teenage Fanclub, supported by The Nightingales, as part of our next Moseley Folk Takeover lineup at The Crossing. Our last takeover, featuring Midlake, Jane Weaver, The Leisure Society, The Brethren, Ollie Cook & The Hogwash, was a sold out affair, so don't wait to secure your tickets. Teenage Fanclub The renowned Glasgow five-piece - led by founding members Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley, with drummer Francis Macdonald, bassist Dave McGowan and keyboardist Euros Childs. A rare thing, Teenage Fanclub are one of Britain's most beloved cult outfits, with a career spanning three decades and fervent fans growing up alongside them. Ever since their formation in 1989, the band's esteemed discography has soundtracked many a life: from the early '90s era-defining Bandwagonesque to albums such as Thirteen, Grand Prix, Songs From Northern Britain, Howdy!, Man Made, Shadows & Here, Endless Arcade and more. 'If you fall for Teenage Fanclub, you fall hard' - The Quietus The Nightingales The Prefects had been part of The Clash's 'White Riot Tour' and released a 45 on Rough Trade. The Nightingales formed from the ashes of The Prefects. Described in John Robb's definitive book on post-punk as "the misfits' misfits", Nightingales enjoyed cult status i…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Birmingham: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
