About the event
From See Tickets's listing
In October and November of this year Teenage Fanclub will be playing 35 shows across the European continent, specifically in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, UK, and Ireland. Norman Blake: "We've been doing this touring thing for a long time now, someone just told me it's 37 years since our first show in 1989, but I don't think about it that way. This is just my life, our lives, it's what we do. But we seem to enjoy it now more than ever. If you ever felt jaded by the prospect of doing this kind of thing it would be best to give up. 12 shows in Spain, and all the other places too - amazing!" So is this an anniversary tour? Raymond McGinley: "Well, for us it's the anniversary of everything and the anniversary of nothing. "Anniversary Of Nothing" - that could be a good album title. I suppose every day is an anniversary of something..." If not an anniversary tour, will this be a tour around a new album? Raymond again: "As a band we think it's good to have a mindset that you're always working towards something new. In our minds we're still a contemporary band, not much different than when we started. At some point we'll have new songs ready to release, but until then we'd rather keep any work in progress to ourselves."

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Newcastle: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
