About it

From Viator's listing

Cardiff has spent decades starring as somewhere else entirely – its castle walls and coal-trade streets standing in for alien worlds and secret agencies. On this self-guided walking tour, you'll trace Doctor Who, Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures filming locations, alongside Cardiff's medieval and wartime history. Start at Cardiff Castle, a Norman keep remade in the 1800s into a Gothic Revival fantasy beloved by TV directors. Wind through the Canal Quarter, then step inside St John the Baptist Church, where a life-size Cyberman has become more than one visitor's favourite discovery. The tour ends at the Cambrian Tap, a pub with a role in the BBC's Sherlock. On this two-hour tour, you'll...- Hear the CGI and directing tricks behind Doctor Who's alien Cardiff.- Follow Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures through the same streets.- Learn how a small market town became a major coal-exporting port. Walk it whenever you land, at your own pace, for a fraction of a guided tour's price.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Cardiff: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
