About the event

A Celebration of the Songs of Elton John and Billy JoelPerformed by John Reilly & Lewis Nitikman Singer-songwriter John Reilly and Canadian pianist and composer Lewis Nitikman are delighted to pay their yearly visit to Alexanders' Live to celebrate the music of Elton John and Billy Joel. Since their first gig in 2018, it's always been a fantastic evening, with a wonderful vibe and judging from the fabulous feedback received from the sell-out audience, they absolutely love it !! The concert is not a tribute, but a true celebration of the music of Elton John and Billy Joel. John Reilly, whose albums have received both national and international air play, sings the songs very accurately, but in his own inimitable style and also plays percussion and harmonica, Lewis Nitikman, who is Berkelee trained and has produced 3 gold albums in Canada, plays piano and bass keyboards. This will be a truly unique evening of stunning vocals and outstanding piano, . It is a totally live performance, expect to hear all your favourite Elton and Billy tunes including 'Your Song', 'Piano Man', 'Daniel', 'Uptown Girl', Candle in the Wind', 'New York State of Mind' ,'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' etc., but also some you may not be so familiar with. So, once again, this is not a tribute. No dressing up. No miming. No backing tracks!! Just two consummate professionals celebrating amazing, timeless songs performed from the heart in a show that has people on their feet, moved and shouting for more !!

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Chester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
