FRIDAY NIGHT COMEDY brings the very best comedians from across the UK and beyond to Alexander's Live, right in the heart of Chester. 18+ Chester's longest-running and only weekly comedy club, FRIDAY NIGHT COMEDY delivers a brilliant night of live stand-up, featuring three fantastic headline acts, hand-picked to bring you some of the best comedy around. We're also passionate about supporting the next generation of comedy talent. That's why every show features an additional shorter middle slot dedicated to an emerging comedian, someone breaking onto the comedy scene or trying out brand-new material. It's our way of championing grassroots comedy and giving up-and-coming performers the opportunity to get on stage alongside established acts. And the fun doesn't have to stop when the comedy finishes! From 10:30pm, stick around for our FREE ENTRY DJ night, featuring local DJs from Eclectic Electric, keeping the party going well into the night. Of course, our amazing bar will be open throughout, offering a huge selection of craft beers, ales, lagers, wines, spirits, as well as our low and no alcohol and soft drinks selection. How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Chester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994).
