The event name is - The John Otway Band The Set remains the same In a 50-year career Dr John Otway (he recently received an honorary degree from Oxford) has performed over 5,000 gigs, building a sizeable cult following of amazingly loyal and adoring fans. He has released 15 albums (six with Wild Willy Barrett), sold out The Royal Albert Hall and headlined the London Palladium. His 2013 biopic Otway the Movie: The Story of Rock n Roll's Greatest Failure premiered in Leicester Square, was shown at Cannes, voted 2nd best film of the year by Guardian readers and is still popular on Netflix. He has also written two bestselling volumes of his autobiography. His song Beware of the Flowers was voted the nation's seventh favourite lyric in a BBC poll. His 1977 Old Grey Whistle Test appearance, when a leap across an amplifier went spectacularly wrong (resulting in the full force of a fall being absorbed by his most tender body parts), first propelled him to fame, helping achieve the first of his two top 20 hits. Since then his surreal sense of humour, near constant gigging and a self-depreciating underdog persona have earned Otway deserved national treasure status.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Chester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994).
