About it

From Viator's listing

Learn about the alleys where the 17th century people lived in the city of Edinburgh, but especially how they died during the Black Death, and the doctors who tried to cure them with bird masks. Dicover about corpses, but about the black market of corpses from the 19th century and serial killers, William Burke and William Hare. We will visit Old Calton Cemetery and Canongate Kirkyard. We will also show you some nice views across Edinburgh whilst talking about a particularly dark chapter in the city’s history, the burning of witches and warlocks , and we will see if any of those who do this tour would have ended up on those bonfires. Learn more about Scotland’s mythical site and the Scottish faeries. All this mystery and mysticism that surrounds Edinburgh for decades attracts hundreds of tourists to the city wanting to know what happened in these centuries, are you going to miss it?

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
