About it

From Viator's listing

Delve into the mystical history of Edinburgh, where visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in the allure of the city's magical past. Explore the renowned legacy of Scottish witches, delving into the origins of Edinburgh's pivotal role in the nationwide witch trials of the 17th century. Join us as we unravel the stories of real-life wizards and witches, traverse the streets that inspired JK Rowling, and marvel at the mesmerizing gothic architecture that transports you to a realm of magic and wonder. With your guide donned in historical costume, you might momentarily believe you've traversed through time. Engage in the heroic narratives of courageous lassies who defied death, venture into the most haunted locale on earth, and "encounter" the lamentable poet deemed the worst in the English language. A captivating tapestry of experiences awaits you when you choose to embark on this extraordinary journey with us.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
