About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Brooklyn's Talib Kweli is revered for his insightful, intelligent lyrics and advanced technical skills on the mike. The earnest MC became one of the most critically successful rappers of his time, which dawned in the late '90s when he formed with and rapped alongside as part of the group . Their widely acclaimed 1998 album debut, Black Star, helped make one of the premier underground rap outposts of the late '90s. 's debut full-length, 2000's Train of Thought, preceded a prolific solo career, which included the gold-certified Quality (2002) and Eardrum (2007), which hit number two on the Billboard 200. Kweli released several albums and mixtapes through his company, then formed the independent in the early 2010s, releasing lower profile but acclaimed efforts like 2017's Radio Silence. He remained busy into the 2020s, with two podcasts as well as a collaboration with called , and a 2023 joint effort with titled Liberation 2. Born in Brooklyn as the eldest of two sons of college professors, Kweli's first name, Talib, is an Arabic name meaning "the seeker or student," while his last name is Ghanaian and means "of truth or knowledge." He began developing his literary gift in elementary school, where he'd write short stories and poems. It wasn't until years later in high school that he turned to hip-hop as an outlet for his self-expression. In high school, he met a young , who became better known as (and is now known as ).…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Leeds: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
