About the event
From See Tickets's listing
After Last year's full house London fusionistas LoKkhi TeRra return to create another unique sound-clash, with ex-Fela Kuti keyboardist and legendary UK Afro-beat ambassador Dele Sosimi. Bringing together two Yoruba speaking musics - with different accents, from different sides of the Atlantic - Havana meets Lagos in London - A Cuban- Afrobeat-Experience. CUBAFROBEAT.Kishon Khan's Lokkhi Terra have over a number of years now been quietly establishing themselves as one of London's more unusual heavyweight outfits, described as "probably the world's best Afrobeat-Cuban-Bangladeshi group (Songlines magazine). Included amongst the band members are London's top Cuban musicians, adding their infectious rich musical history to the city's melting pot. When the band wanted to explore Cuban links with another of their favourite traditions, Afrobeat, who better to bring in then one of the Afrobeat originators - maestro Dele Sosimi"Sosimi creates some of the most bewitching grooves in modern African music" (E Jazz News). The collaboration started off as an album project, but it's success has spawned anew band - CUBAFROBEAT"...one of the jewels of jazz and cross-cultural music in the UK" Chris Phillips, Jazz FM"A total stonking blinder" - All About Jazz"This coming together feels particularly inspired" - Evening Standard

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
