About the event
From See Tickets's listing
* More wows from Wandering Oak here *A special co-headline show: ATFK'Brimming with invention and energy. Together they're dynamite' - The CrackMeet ATFK, the 'envelope-pushing' untethered brainchild of Amy Thatcher and Francesca Knowles. This genre-blasting duo defy the preconceptions of what their instruments can do, breaking with tradition while tactfully adopting their folk roots as a playground for experimentation. ATFK's sound is one of both raucous energy and sympathetic intensity, combining piano accordion, percussion, synths and vocals for an unapologetic brew of colourful composition which channels influences from jazz, prog, EDM and beyond. Their debut album Emergency of the Female Kind (2023) kicked off this two-woman genre revolution: reflecting on themes of female identity, activism, sexuality, and local pride, it showcased a spectrum of human-ness rarely captured in 46 minutes. It earned rave reviews from the likes of Rock 'N' Reel, describing them as 'a musically kinetic meeting of fragility and kick-ass strength'; and a 4-star review in MOJO, who branded them charmingly 'perverse' and 'fantastic'. Alongside national tours and festival showcases, ATFK have enjoyed radio support from the likes of Stuart Maconie and Jamie Cullum, who called them 'Unusual and really exciting', as well as curating an exclusive mixtape for BBC 6 Music show The Freak Zone.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Newcastle: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
