About the event

From See Tickets's listing

Heavy metal is more than just music. For some, it is a fully fledged lifestyle, woven into their DNA. This is something Employed To Serve embodies. After rising from road warrior martyrs paying their dues to staking their claim as arena-ready contenders following a huge tour with Gojira, they're here to take pride of place on the heavy metal world stage with their new album 'Fallen Star'. Vocalist Justine Jones and guitarist /co-vocalist Sammy Urwin first met in their teens, starting the band with the intention of standing shoulder to shoulder with the local scene bands they admired. Now, after evolving from the feral mathcore chaos of their early EPs to detonating a full-throttle career high with 2021 album 'Conquering', they're clearly lifers; make that lifers with a mission... "We want to fly the flag for heavy metal and the traditions that it holds," offers Sammy, acknowledging his life-long love of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica, iconic artists he now finds more inspiring than ever. "But at the same time we want to play our part in taking things forward. "We're both super nerdy about music; however, if you just want to turn up and enjoy the show, that's good too. The question is: does the music do something for you? If so, awesome!" "When I was younger, I hated that you had to be either a metalcore fan or an emo metal fan," adds Justine.…

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Newcastle: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
