Flowerden + BargestraChristmas Show! Thursday 3rd DecemberDoors 7.30pm, Show 8pmTickets are £9 (+ b/f) in advance and available from See Tickets. This show is all ages with all under 18's to be accompanied by an adult. *This is a seated show with all seating unreserved* Flowerden and Bargestra are joining forces to throw an unforgettable night of feel-good, genre-bending party music. Expect a vibrant mix of instrumental jazz-pop fusion, funk and pop arrangements with a sprinkle of festive cheer. FLOWERDEN are a quartet from York playing original, infectiously catchy jazz/pop fusion. Entirely instrumental, every tune is jam packed with riffs, textures and rhythms that you'll be humming for days. Bex, Nik, Tobias and Tom bring eclectic tastes and backgrounds from hard rock to the films of Studio Ghibli. They mix it with the contemporary jazz sensibilities of Ezra Collective, Kokoroko and Nubya Garcia to create something unique and wonderful. It's unequivocally jazz, with pop and rock undertones. Flowerden are Bex (sax), Nik (bass), Tobias (drums) and Tom (keys). BARGESTRA is an inclusive, community band led by Christian Topman who focus on playing fun, feel-good music. They cover a range of genres including pop, funk and jazz including some unusual mash up arrangements!. Made up of around 30 musicians, Bargestra has a full set up of horns, brass and a rhythm section.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in York: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
