Brudenell PresentsBeans On ToastThe Crescent, YorkWednesday 2nd December, 7.30pm *This is a standing show* Celebrated folk troubadour Beans on Toast heads out on his annual winter tour. Part concert, part gathering, every Beans on Toast show is a unique evening of songs and stories. Expect open-hearted tales of family, friendships and everyday life alongside protest songs, drinking songs, songs about nature and songs that'll have you laughing one minute and wiping away a tear the next. With his trademark warmth, wit and unwavering optimism, Beans has spent nearly two decades building one of the most loyal and welcoming audiences in British folk music. Whether you've been coming for years or it's your first time, everyone is welcome. Come and be part of a celebration of music, chaos, community and hope, and leave feeling like you've just caught up with an old friend. "Perhaps the defining voice of a generation." How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in York: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
