Utterly Fuzzled #15 A potpourrie as ever! KNITTING CIRCLE are regulars at Utterly Fuzzled, no surprising as Jo and Pete from the latter play in the former! The 'post-punk peace-punk' band (as Nathan from Nathy SG recently put it) are from York, then, and are gearing up for the new album with a British DIY label of some repute with whom the band are chuffed to be working. Expect, er, Au-Pairs meets Shellac or something - and lots of topical tracts! VISIT ME are from York and London with two female voices supporting each other with open-sounding harmonising - almost like Nick Drake at times but comparable to 'Hey What'-period Low at other times. Drum machine pop with sunset guitars and wooly cardigan feel in some ways. Utterly Fuzzled are very excited to hear this band live. THE SUNBATHERS are Paul and Julie who write wistful songs about love and the seaside. From Coventry, they will beguile you with sweet melodica, beautiful vocals (plain and yet expressive, paradoxically) and lush guitar chords on an acoustic. ONE MORE BAND is tbc Fulfordgate Social Club offers a friendly and welcoming environment. The gig room has two toilet cubicles which crequestan be used by anyone who needs them. We request that anyone who feels able to do so uses the men's toilets which are accessible by going through the bar.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in York: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
