How to cancel Apple Music
You can cancel Apple Music online or in the app. Apple says Apple Music stops when your subscription expires, without giving the day; an expiry message in red means it’s cancelled.
Step by step
- Go to music.apple.com and choose Sign In at the top of the page (skip this if you can’t see Sign In).
- Tap or click the My Account icon, then choose Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions, choose Manage, then choose Cancel Subscription.
- On an iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Apple Music, then tap Cancel Subscription.
- If you pay through Google Play, cancel in the Apple Music app on your Android device or at play.google.com.

Your rights
If you signed up online or by phone, you can usually cancel within 14 days of the day you signed up, without giving a reason.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 29
If you asked for it to start within those 14 days, you usually pay for what you had up to the day you told them you were cancelling.
Digital content, such as a film or a book you stream or download, is the exception: once it has started with your agreement, and you accepted that you'd lose the right to cancel, you usually lose those 14 days.
If Apple or Google Play bills you for it, you cancel it with them, not with the seller. On Google Play, deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
