How to cancel Babbel
You can cancel Babbel online. It ends at the end of the time you've paid for.
Step by step
- Go to babbel.com and log in to your account.
- Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and choose Profile and settings.
- Open Account Information.
- Choose the subscription and click the Cancel auto-renewal button. You can do this at any time up to the day before it renews.
- If you don't see the Cancel auto-renewal button, the subscription won't renew; its expiration date shows when it ends and you won't be charged again.

When it ends
It ends at the end of the time you've paid for.
Notice
Cancel up to the day before renewal; UK terms say 48 hours before the term ends.
Leaving early
You can't end the first term early except by withdrawing within 14 days; once it has renewed, the UK terms allow one month's notice.
What you keep
You keep access to all your courses until the subscription expires. Group Plan members keep access to the end of the billing period.
Refunds
Within 14 days of buying, withdraw online ('Withdraw from contract here', then 'Confirm withdrawal'); you pay in proportion for what you used.

Your rights
If you signed up online or by phone, you can usually cancel within 14 days of the day you signed up, without giving a reason.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 29
If you asked for it to start within those 14 days, you usually pay for what you had up to the day you told them you were cancelling.
Digital content, such as a film or a book you stream or download, is the exception: once it has started with your agreement, and you accepted that you'd lose the right to cancel, you usually lose those 14 days.
If Apple or Google Play bills you for it, you cancel it with them, not with the seller. On Google Play, deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
