How to cancel Cineworld Unlimited
You can cancel Cineworld Unlimited online or in writing. Not before the 3 or 12 month minimum term ends. After it, it ends the day before your next payment if you give 10 days' notice (14 by Direct Debit).
Step by step
- Check your minimum term (3 or 12 months) has ended: during it you can only cancel in very limited circumstances.
- Give notice of termination to the Unlimited team through Cineworld's contact form, or email [email protected].
- Send it from the email address linked to your Unlimited account.
- If you pay by card, send it at least 10 days before your next payment (14 days by Direct Debit), or that payment is taken and it ends a month later.
- To stop it renewing when the minimum term ends, write to the Unlimited team at least 10 days before the term ends.
- Keep your card payment in place until the end date: cancelling it first deactivates your Unlimited card straight away.
- Cineworld confirms your end date in writing.

When it ends
Not before the 3 or 12 month minimum term ends. After it, it ends the day before your next payment if you give 10 days' notice (14 by Direct Debit).
Notice
10 days before your next payment by card; 14 days by Direct Debit
Leaving early
In the minimum term only for medical reasons, a move outside the UK and Channel Islands, or a scheme change that leaves you worse off.
Refunds
Within 14 days of joining you can cancel, but the refund is reduced by what you've used; none if tickets used cost more than you paid.

Your rights
If you signed up online or by phone, you can usually cancel within 14 days of the day you signed up, without giving a reason.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 29
If you asked for it to start within those 14 days, you usually pay for what you had up to the day you told them you were cancelling.
Digital content, such as a film or a book you stream or download, is the exception: once it has started with your agreement, and you accepted that you'd lose the right to cancel, you usually lose those 14 days.
If Apple or Google Play bills you for it, you cancel it with them, not with the seller. On Google Play, deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
