How to cancel iCloud+
You can cancel iCloud+ in the app or online. It ends at the end of the time you've paid for.
Step by step
- On an iPhone with iOS 18.4 or later, open the Settings app, then tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then tap iCloud+ under Active.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. To keep a smaller plan instead, tap See All Plans and choose a new plan.
- On a Mac with macOS Tahoe 26 or later: Apple menu, System Settings, Apple Account, iCloud, then Manage Plan under iCloud+ Features, then Cancel Subscription.
- On a Windows PC: open iCloud for Windows, click Manage, Change Storage Plan, then Downgrade Options, and choose the free 5 GB plan.
- Without an Apple device: sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose "I'd like to", then "Request a refund", pick a reason and your latest iCloud+ charge, then Submit.

When it ends
It ends at the end of the time you've paid for.
What you keep
You go back to the free 5 GB. If you store more, iCloud stops syncing and backing up, and Hide My Email, Private Relay and Apple Invites go.
Refunds
Apple gives partial refunds where the law requires them; if you recently changed your iCloud+ plan, contact Apple within 14 days for a refund.

Your rights
If you signed up online or by phone, you can usually cancel within 14 days of the day you signed up, without giving a reason.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 29
If you asked for it to start within those 14 days, you usually pay for what you had up to the day you told them you were cancelling.
Digital content, such as a film or a book you stream or download, is the exception: once it has started with your agreement, and you accepted that you'd lose the right to cancel, you usually lose those 14 days.
If Apple or Google Play bills you for it, you cancel it with them, not with the seller. On Google Play, deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
