How to cancel Kindle+ (Kindle Unlimited)
You can cancel Kindle+ (Kindle Unlimited) online. It ends at the end of the time you've paid for.
Step by step
- Go to Cancel Kindle Unlimited (amazon.co.uk/kindle-dbs/hz/cancel) and sign in to your Amazon account.
- Select Cancel membership.
- You can also turn it off at amazon.co.uk/kpcentral or in Your Memberships & Subscriptions in Your Account.
- Kindle+ stays active until your next billing date. After that, you lose access to the books you've borrowed.

If you paid when you joined (no free trial) and cancel within 14 days of signing up, Amazon refunds the fee. Otherwise fees already paid aren't refunded.

Your rights
If you signed up online or by phone, you can usually cancel within 14 days of the day you signed up, without giving a reason.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 29
If you asked for it to start within those 14 days, you usually pay for what you had up to the day you told them you were cancelling.
Digital content, such as a film or a book you stream or download, is the exception: once it has started with your agreement, and you accepted that you'd lose the right to cancel, you usually lose those 14 days.
If Apple or Google Play bills you for it, you cancel it with them, not with the seller. On Google Play, deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
