How to cancel Nintendo Switch Online

You can cancel Nintendo Switch Online online or in the app. It ends at the end of the time you've paid for.

Step by step

  1. You cancel by turning off automatic renewal; do it at least 48 hours before your membership expires.
  2. Only the Nintendo Account holder who bought the membership can change automatic renewal.
  3. On Nintendo Switch 2: open Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu, select the account that bought it, select your user icon (upper right), scroll down and select Terminate Automatic Renewal.
  4. On Nintendo Switch: open Nintendo eShop, select the account, select your user icon, highlight Nintendo Switch Online on the left and select Terminate Automatic Renewal.
  5. Online: sign in at accounts.nintendo.com/portal, select Nintendo Switch Online, pick the membership under Valid Memberships and select Terminate automatic renewal, then again to confirm.
