Store card M&S
M&S Sparks Signing in, the app, your card number and sharing rewards
Sparks is M&S's free rewards scheme, used in its shops, on its website and in the M&S app, though not at BP or Applegreen petrol stations or on Ocado. Members get personalised offers that pay money into a digital Sparks wallet to spend at M&S, a birthday treat and a free hot drink for every six bought, and M&S gives to your chosen charity each time you shop. It's open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Free. I keep your card's barcode ready for the till. I'm not M&S' app, so I can't see your points.

How do I register my Sparks card and sign in?
Short answer: Join in app or online
Join in the M&S app or at marksandspencer.com/joinsparks with a valid email address; you'll also need a mobile number to spend rewards from your Sparks wallet. Sign in to Sparks in the app or at marksandspencer.com/sparks. To add a physical card, open your account in a web browser (not the app), tap the gold Sparks card, choose 'Link physical card', enter the long number and CVV from the back and tap 'Link'.
Is there a Sparks card app?
Short answer: Yes, in the M&S app
Yes. Your Sparks card is a digital card in the M&S app (listed as M&S - Fashion, Food & Homeware), which you scan at the till, and the hot drink stamps only work in the app. Physical Sparks cards still work too: M&S says you get perks such as the birthday treat with just the card, though spending your Sparks wallet needs a computer or tablet.
Where do I find my Sparks card number?
Short answer: On the card's back
On the back of a physical Sparks card: it's the long number, printed with a CVV. You enter both when you link the card to your digital Sparks account.
Can I share my Sparks rewards?
Short answer: No, they're non-transferable
No. The Sparks terms say the scheme's benefits, which include your rewards, are non-transferable, and that your M&S account and Sparks membership can't be transferred once activated. Check your card's terms.
I checked these answers against M&S' own pages on 13 October 2026. Schemes change their rules, so check your card's terms before you count on one.

Questions people ask
Can I keep my Sparks card on my phone with Vouchernaut?
Yes, free. Scan its barcode at vouchernaut.com/cards, or take a photo of it, and it's saved with the barcode drawn sharp for the till. Without an account it stays on that phone; a free account keeps it if you change phones.
Does Vouchernaut add my Sparks card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
No. Vouchernaut keeps your card in its own wallet in your browser and doesn't make Apple Wallet or Google Wallet passes.
Can my family use my Sparks card from Vouchernaut?
Yes, if you share it: start a free family, invite the people you shop with and tap Share on the card. It shows on their phones until you stop sharing. Every scheme sets its own rules on who can use a card, so sharing is your call. Check your card's terms.
Will the till scan my Sparks card from my phone?
Most tills read barcodes from a phone screen. Vouchernaut draws the barcode again sharp and checks it reads back as your number before it's marked ready for the till. If one struggles, turn your screen brightness up, or read out the number underneath.
Does Vouchernaut see my points or what I buy?
No. It keeps your card's barcode and number to show at the till. It doesn't read your points or balance, track what you buy or sell anything on.
