What does a Kids Pass membership actually get you?
Kids Pass is a members-only discount club rather than a ticket shop, and its value sits in a long list of partner venues across the UK. The brand says it has more than 1,000 discounts, grouped into cinemas, theme parks, zoos and safari parks, aquariums, trampoline parks, bowling and mini golf, museums, dining, hotels, holidays and shopping gift cards. Partners named on its category pages in October 2026 included Cineworld, ODEON and Vue, Drayton Manor, Flamingo Land and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Chester Zoo and Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Hollywood Bowl, Go Ape, Haven and Parkdean Resorts. Some offers are tickets bought through Kids Pass and others are codes or booking links. Dining ranges from kids eat free at YO!, Barburrito and Hard Rock Cafe to a percentage off the food bill at Prezzo and Zizzi. Alton Towers, LEGOLAND Windsor and Thorpe Park appear only as "exclusive member benefits", with no saving shown until after joining. The FAQ says most tickets stay valid for six to twelve months and most offers work seven days a week, with any exclusions set out on each offer.
How much does Kids Pass cost?
In October 2026 Kids Pass cost £4.99 a month or £39.99 a year, and new members could start with a 30-day trial for £1 that then renews at £4.99 a month. Every plan unlocks the same offers. One membership covers the named member and their household, adults included, so there's no charge per child. A 12-month gift membership, sent by email as an e-gift voucher, cost £29.99. Members also get The Vault, a weekly prize drop every Thursday at 7.30pm with cinema tickets and days out among the prizes, at no extra cost.
Is Kids Pass worth it?
It depends mostly on how often the family goes to the cinema. The annual plan works out at about £3.33 a month, so it has to save more than £40 over a year, and cinema is where the discounts are most consistent: Kids Pass's cinema page put the average saving at 44% at Cineworld, 28% at Vue and 20% at ODEON in October 2026. Household Money Saving's July 2026 review scored it 2.9 out of 5, praising the cinema deals but calling the restaurant offers modest and noting that many theme parks sell similar discounts direct. On Trustpilot, Kids Pass scored 4.0 out of 5 from 11,951 reviews in October 2026. Reviewers mostly praise the savings on days out and the app, while the one-star reviews centre on codes that didn't work at venues and renewals people didn't expect. The terms also say a Kids Pass discount can't be combined with a venue's other promotions, vouchers or cards.
How do you cancel Kids Pass, and can you get a refund?
Cancelling happens on the website, not in the app. Members sign in, open My Account, choose Membership Details and select End Membership. The terms say deleting the app doesn't cancel anything, and a cancellation only counts once a confirmation email arrives. A trial has to be cancelled by midnight on its expiry date to avoid the first monthly payment. Annual members who cancel within 14 days of buying get the fee back, but there's no refund after that, and monthly and trial payments are non-refundable once taken. Memberships renew automatically, monthly on the same date or yearly on the anniversary, which is behind many of the complaints on Trustpilot.
How can you pay less for Kids Pass?
The membership itself is what the deals on this page discount, usually as a cheaper annual plan or a low-cost trial. Paying yearly at £39.99 costs about £20 less than twelve monthly payments of £4.99 (£59.88), and the £29.99 gift membership was cheaper again in October 2026. The £1 trial gives a month to see whether nearby venues and the family's habits make it pay before any full payment is taken. Once inside, the shopping category sells gift cards at a small discount, such as PizzaExpress and Costa cards at 6% off in October 2026, which adds up for spending a household does anyway.
