About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Enjoy an exceptional candlelit concert this Christmas in the stunning setting of St Giles' Cathedral in the heart of Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Celebrate the season with Vivaldi's iconic masterpiece The Four Seasons, brought to life as you've never heard it before. This vivid and revolutionary work captures the changing moods of the year, while a carefully chosen programme of classical masterpieces -including Handel's Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and Bach's much loved Piano Concerto in D minor, creates the perfect soundtrack for a magical winter evening. Performed by the acclaimed Piccadilly Sinfonietta with renowned concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith and a leading violin soloist to be announced, this special Christmas concert promises an evening of elegance, inspiration and festive charm. With over 200 performances each year, the ensemble-featuring some of the UK's finest classical talent-has become a beloved presence on the British music scene, renowned for its sparkling interpretations of the baroque, classical and early romantic repertoire."Stunning" - Classic FMFeaturingThe Piccadilly SinfoniettaWarren Mailley-Smith (piano)ProgrammeHandel - Arrival of the Queen of ShebaBach - Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minorVivaldi - The Four SeasonsJoin us for a heartwarming musical celebration that truly captures the spirit of the season.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
