The first thing
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store → does is move your last 300 emails into Gmail labels or Outlook folders. That could clear a crowded inbox, but it also changes where you have to look for the message you can't afford to miss. The sorting includes every new email, too.
Fyxer is an AI assistant from the London company Fyxer AI Limited. It works inside Gmail or Outlook, drafting replies in your style and sending a notetaker into Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls. Fyxer promises an hour of your day back, and plenty of Trustpilot reviewers say it delivers. I can see the appeal if both your inbox and calendar are full. If you only want help writing replies, the AI in Gmail or Outlook may already be included in a plan you pay for.
Can it take the work off you?
The useful part of
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store →'s filing is also the part you need to get used to. Mail moves out of the main inbox into categories such as To respond, FYI and Notifications. Nothing is deleted, Fyxer says, but your day starts in different folders.
For replies, it reads around 300 recent emails to pick up your writing style, then leaves drafts for you to check and send. It never sends them itself. Unused drafts disappear after 14 days, or after anything from 1 to 30 days if you change the setting.
The notetaker joins calls as an attendee and records up to two hours per call. A Teams or Zoom host often has to admit it. Fyxer Adsays participants are notified first and it won't join if they decline. If that is the part you'd use most, our guide to AI note takers in the UK compares tools devoted to that job.
There's also a chat box for questions about your inbox, a list of follow-ups you owe and a booking link. Which of those jobs would make the biggest difference to you?
What does it cost?
Filing and drafts start with
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store → Pro; the Free plan won't do either. The Adplans are priced in US dollars, with no pound prices and no line about VAT. In October 2026, they were:
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Weekly email briefing, audio meeting notes on 400 credits a month |
| Pro | $37 per person a month | $49 per person a month | Replies drafted in your tone, automatic labelling, video recording |
| Team | $64 per person a month | $99 per person a month | Several inboxes at once, shared follow-ups, a two-seat minimum |
| Enterprise | Annual contract | Annual contract | Single sign-on, a choice of data region, private cloud |
Paid plans also run on credits. Members get unlimited credits for their first three months, then 3,000 a month per paid member on Pro. Fyxer's example of a Pro month is 5,000 sorted emails, 25 hours of recording and 25 chat messages. Once the credits run out, sorting pauses first while recording continues.
The VAT treatment depends on the account. Under the Consumer Terms, a personal address such as Gmail or Outlook.com gets UK prices including VAT and pays in the currency shown at checkout. For work, including sole traders and freelancers, the Organization Terms exclude VAT and add it on top. That makes Pro billed annually $37 a seat a month plus VAT for a UK business. Your bank may add conversion fees.
A full refund is available if you ask within 7 days of the first charge on a monthly plan, or 30 days on an annual one. That sounds simple enough; the trial and seat settings need more attention.
Where can the bill grow?
Two things sit behind
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store →'s worst billing reviews: what happens at the end of the trial and who can become a paid teammate. I wouldn't rely on the trial ending quietly.
Fyxer's Adpricing page says you move to Free unless you choose to pay, and a help article updated on 29 September says there's "no charge and nothing to cancel". Another help article updated on 20 October says the account "automatically converts to a paid plan unless you cancel" and suggests setting your own reminder. The Consumer Terms say Fyxer can't charge at the end if it didn't take payment details at the start. With a card on the account, I'd assume a charge is coming and cancel under Settings, Plan and billing before the trial ends if I didn't want to pay.
The other setting is "Automatically add teammates". When it's on, anyone who signs up using your company's email domain joins your organisation as a paid seat without an invite. Fyxer calls this the most common reason for unexpected multi-seat charges and advises a sole user to switch it off.
The Trustpilot picture on 27 October 2026 was mixed: a TrustScore of 4.0 from 750 reviews, with 63% five-star and 13% one-star. Fyxer pays for a Trustpilot subscription. In a one-star review on 20 October, a UK reviewer said over £2K had been taken after they thought they'd cancelled. Fyxer replied that the charge wasn't acceptable and offered to sort a refund. That is one person's account, but it makes the cancellation setting matter more than a reassuring line on a pricing page.
What does it get access to?
Automatic filing and drafting mean
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store → needs access to your email and calendar. The Google and Microsoft sign-in connection means it doesn't see your password, and it reads only your inbox and sent items. A work account, particularly on Microsoft 365, may need an IT admin's approval.
Some setups rule it out. Shared inboxes such as info@ aren't supported, nor are Apple Mail, plain IMAP accounts or self-run Exchange servers. That matters before you make the trial or the price part of your decision.
The training setting would be my next stop. By default, Fyxer trains its own private AI models on customer content, swapping names and email addresses for codes and removing sensitive details first. You can switch it off under Settings, Account; an admin can do that for everyone. Content already used can't be removed from models already built, and third-party AI providers aren't allowed to train on it. The Consumer and Organization Terms allow training across customers once you've had a clear chance to object, but since 26 October they rule out training on anything Fyxer receives from Gmail or Google Calendar, on any plan.
Fyxer says the data is stored in Belgium and the Netherlands. Its trust centre lists ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and HIPAA as compliant. Fyxer AI Limited was incorporated in October 2023 and is registered with the ICO.
Does the help hold up?
Users give
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store →'s drafts decent marks, but the filing draws sharper criticism. An assistant who manages their boss's inbox wrote on r/ExecutiveAssistants on 9 October 2026 that two important emails, both marked URGENT, slipped through; one went unseen for a month. Another commenter described more than a hundred drafts piling up and emails marked as read. A reply suggested a plain Gmail or Outlook rule to pin key senders, since that runs before the AI.
The thread shows what can go wrong when the filing isn't watched closely.
The complaints about drafts are less dramatic. A small agency owner on r/ProductivityApps said in April 2026 that Fyxer was fine after a few months, but the drafts felt generic and got rewritten anyway. On Trustpilot, a reviewer called James wrote in July that they love the meeting notes but found the email side harder to adjust to.
Eamonn Cottrell reached a similar split after setting Fyxer up from scratch in a review uploaded on 31 August 2026. The notetaker was the part they used most; having already set up their own labels, they probably wouldn't buy Fyxer just for the labelling and drafts. Their test is whether you'd use both the email side and the meeting or scheduling side. Cottrell's video shows the older Starter and Professional plans, replaced for new customers in September 2026, so the prices above are the ones to weigh now. Cottrell has an affiliate link in the video description.
The video shows Cottrell's setup and why they put more value on the notetaker.
In a round-up of nine email assistants uploaded on 25 June 2026, Tool Finder calls Fyxer "a good allrounder" for Gmail and Outlook users, although the presenter's own pick is

That's why they dictate their own replies instead. Our dictation software guide covers that route.

The table puts their October 2026 prices beside the work each one does.
| Option | Price | Email AI it includes | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Gmail | £0 | Summaries, Help me write and suggested replies | Help me write on a personal account is US-only |
| Google AI Plus | £4.49 a month | "Gemini in Gmail, Vids and more" | A personal Google plan |
| Google Workspace Business Starter | £5.90 per user a month on a one-year plan, before tax | "Gemini AI assistant in Gmail" | Means using Google's business email |
| Microsoft 365 Personal | £8.49 a month or £84.99 a year | Outlook desktop app with Microsoft Copilot | For personal use |
| Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot | £18.10 per user a month, paid yearly, before VAT | Copilot in Outlook: prioritise, summarise, draft | Primary mailbox on Exchange Online only |
| £28 per member a month billed annually, £33 monthly | AI inbox sorting and replies in your voice | Replaces your email app | |
| Shortwave Pro | $18 per seat a month | AI inbox organisation, summaries and writing | Built for Gmail and Google Workspace |
| $37 per person a month billed annually | Sorting, drafts, meeting notes | Dollars, and VAT depends on the account |
The difference is when the AI gets involved. Google and Microsoft mostly offer features you call up inside a message, such as Help me write or Draft with Copilot, although Copilot can also prioritise an inbox. Fyxer files every email and drafts the replies that need them before you open anything, then adds the notetaker. If work already pays for Copilot, the drafting overlaps; the extra money goes on automatic filing, meeting notes and the follow-up list.

Our email apps and inbox AI section covers the assistants. How much would that extra help be worth to you each month?
Would I pay for it?
I'd pay for
FyxerFyxerThis is Fyxer, an AI email assistant that works inside Gmail and Outlook. It sorts your inbox, drafts replies in your own tone and keeps track of meetings and follow-ups, so busy p1 current offer · View store → if I had a busy inbox, a calendar full of outside calls and the sort of work an assistant would usually handle: chasing replies and writing follow-ups after meetings. Fyxer names founders, salespeople, recruiters, estate agents and consultants among its users. I can see why those jobs might use both halves, which is the same test Cottrell applies.
If the main need is writing help, I'd stay with the email plan I already had. On personal Gmail, Google AI Plus was £4.49 a month in October 2026; work may already pay for Copilot. I'd skip Fyxer for a shared inbox or if its default training setting worried me. A to-do list app may be enough for follow-ups, while our Calendly alternatives guide covers other ways to share a diary.
If I did sign up, I'd turn off "Automatically add teammates" unless I meant to roll it out, put the trial's end in my calendar, switch off training if it mattered to me, and set a Gmail or Outlook rule for senders I couldn't miss.
