Print or digital?
Not every title comes in both formats. The FAQs say digital subscriptions are only available for Women's Running, Vegan Food & Living, Classic Pop and Italia!, while Vintage Rock and Colouring Heaven are print only. If you want something to keep on a shelf or read away from a screen, check the format on the product page before you add anything to your basket.
Subscriptions or single issues
Subscriptions start with the next available issue by default, so one bought shortly before an issue goes on sale may begin a issue later. If you want the issue currently on sale, the FAQs say you need to order it separately. A single issue suits a one-off read or a gift, while a subscription makes more sense if you already know you will keep reading.
Payment and cancelling
Subscriptions can be paid by Direct Debit or continuous card payment, both of which renew automatically. Italia! and Vintage Rock are described as offering one-off payment options. You can cancel a subscription through your online account and keep receiving the issues you have already paid for until the term ends, which is worth knowing before you commit to a recurring payment.
Check timescales before gifting
If a gift or subscription needs to arrive by a specific date, read the delivery section first. The shop states that single issues are sent by standard post and that delivery tracking is not offered, so plan around the published timescales rather than expecting a quick arrival.
