Black Circles: shoppers' questions

Questions about Black Circles, answered by us and by readers who've shopped there.

  1. How do I get a refund from Black Circles?

    Our answer

Black Circles' terms give you 30 days from the day after delivery, or until the arranged fitting date, to cancel and return unused tyres in the condition you received them for a full refund. Start a return through its Contact Us page. For a change of mind you pay the return costs, and if Black Circles collects the tyres it can charge a fixed £20 collection fee. Faulty, damaged or wrongly described tyres go back at its cost. Once a refund is confirmed it's processed straight away, but can take 3 to 5 working days to reach your account.

  2. Can I pay with Klarna at Black Circles?

    Our answer

No. Black Circles' payment help page lists Amex, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa cards, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal, but not Klarna. To spread the cost it offers PayPal Pay in 3, for purchases of £30 to £2,000, and PayPal Credit, both credit subject to status for UK residents.

  3. Is Black Circles legit?

    Our answer

Black Circles is run by Blackcircles.com Limited, a company registered in Scotland (number SC224310), incorporated in 2001, with its registered office at 1 Tanfield, Edinburgh. You pay online by card, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal. Tyres are either sent to a garage in its UK fitting network for a booked fitting or delivered by courier, mostly DX, to your address. Its terms give you 30 days from the day after delivery, or until the fitting date, to cancel and return unused tyres for a full refund.

  4. Does Black Circles do an NHS or blue light discount?

    Our answer

Not at the moment. Black Circles ran a Front Line Staff Discount for NHS workers and emergency services staff, 15% off two or more Michelin tyres, but its help page says the offer has now closed, and its terms gave an end date of 29 December 2020. Its offers page, which lists the deals currently running, has nothing for NHS or blue light staff.
