Curo Skin: what to know before you buy
The story
Curo Skin began with its founder, Harry, who says he lived with dry skin and a flaky scalp for years before wondering whether the water was to blame. After 18 months and several prototypes he built a filtered shower head, and the brand launched in 2025.
The product
The Curo filtered shower head pairs a shower head with the largest filter the team could design. The filter combines KDF-55, calcium sulphite and activated carbon, and the company says it removes up to 99 per cent of chlorine and heavy metals. Those are the brand's own claims, and the product is not a medical treatment. Filters are made from recycled non-woven cloth, which Curo says uses far less plastic than regular shower filters.
Finishes
Shower heads come in Chrome, Brushed Gold and Midnight Black, so you can match your bathroom. The Rainfall filter is a separate shower filter in the range, and replacement filters are sold on their own.
Saving
You can buy once or subscribe for filters on a schedule, and the site says subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Any live codes are listed on this page: copy one and enter it at checkout.
Delivery
UK orders go by tracked Royal Mail. Curo tries to ship the same day for orders placed before its daily cut-off, but orders are not processed at weekends or on bank holidays. If a parcel arrives damaged, contact the team within 24 hours with photos.

Filtered shower heads and the Rainfall filter come with a money-back guarantee, and the product must come back undamaged with all components, including filters. It is meant for first-time customers, so repeat ordering to use the guarantee isn't allowed. Other products have a shorter return window and must be unused in original packaging.
