Damart: what to know before you buy
The story
Damart began in France when three brothers developed and patented Thermolactyl, a man-made fibre that kept people warm in thin, soft, breathable fabric. It was among the first of its kind, and it made the brand's name. The UK arm is part of the Damartex group and runs from its head office in Bingley, Yorkshire.
The range
Thermals are still the heart of it, but the shop covers much more. There are coats and jackets, knitwear, lingerie and nightwear, footwear, and warmth-focused home pieces. Damart also stocks other brands alongside its own, and its Climatyl collection is designed to keep you cool. Perfect Fit jeans, with a tummy-contouring cut, are another favourite line.
Delivery
Standard and express delivery are both offered, with express for orders that need to arrive sooner on weekdays. Some items are sent directly from the manufacturer and can take longer, and larger purchases may come by a different courier. Parcels are tracked by Evri, and costs show at checkout.
Returns
If something isn't right, you can send it back. Damart offers a home collection by Evri courier, or you can book your own collection with Evri direct. Return costs are explained on its delivery and returns page, and larger items such as mattresses are collected by specialist couriers.
Design
Damart says it keeps developing its collections around fun, vitality and comfort, using quality fabrics and sustainable practices. The aim is clothing that lets you feel like yourself, whatever the weather is doing.
