Fidelis: what to know before you buy

The story

Fidelis began in 2016 when Christian adopted Pippa. Kibble didn't seem right for her and raw food upset her tummy, so he began cooking for her. Reiner Hauf joined and developed the cooking method in 2020, and the brand launched in 2022 with its own kitchen. It says it now cooks for more than a hundred thousand dogs across the UK and Europe.

The food

The Fresh Menu comes in glass jars: meat cooked gently, with vegetables and fruit added afterwards, and no preservatives or fillers. Fidelis says the ingredients are human-grade and the recipes were developed with holistic vet Anita Kröger. There are single-protein recipes and mixed selections, including a hypoallergenic pack, so it can suit fussy eaters.

More products

Alongside the jars there is air-dried food, natural chews, training rewards and dental chews. Check each product's label, as some are complementary feeds meant to go with other food rather than replace a meal.

Delivery

Orders placed before the weekday cut-off are aimed to leave the same day. There are standard and express options, and delivery is free once an order passes a threshold shown on the site. Fidelis delivers across the whole UK, including the Highlands, islands and Channel Islands, with no remote-area surcharge.

Saving

Subscribe & Save lets you choose a delivery every few weeks, with the discount growing across your first few orders. You can skip, pause or cancel at any time. Any live code is listed on this page: copy it and enter it at checkout.

Returns

You can cancel within the legal 14 days of receiving an order. Because it's sealed food, items must be unopened with the seal intact, and you pay the return postage unless something is faulty. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, email Fidelis and it will arrange a replacement or refund.
