Headfirst acts as an agent for the platform, while the event supplier is generally the trader responsible for the event itself. The terms say the listing accuracy, entry conditions and delivery of the event are the supplier's responsibility, so read the event page before paying. If something is wrong with the listing, the platform says it will try to mediate.
Read the total before you pay
The price at checkout is made up of the face value, a booking fee and, at some venues, a venue contribution or optional donation. Booking fees and extra charges are non-refundable under the terms, so the amount shown at checkout is effectively what you commit to. Pick the correct date, because events can have several performances.
Understand refunds and resale
The terms state that bookings are non-refundable, so a refund request has to go to the supplier. Where a sold-out event has Reissue enabled, you can offer a ticket back through your account. Your original ticket is cancelled and the face value refunded, and the replacement is sold as a new sale. You cannot choose the buyer, and the option closes shortly before the event.
Use the waiting list and gift vouchers sensibly
If a sold-out product offers Reissue, you can join a waiting list and save a payment method, which commits you to buying up to your chosen quantity. Gift vouchers can be spent across several purchases and are valid for 24 months from delivery. Anyone holding the code can redeem it, so keep it private.
