Questions about Not On The High Street, answered by us and by readers who've shopped there.

  1. How much is Not On The High Street delivery?

    Our answer

Each seller sends its own items and picks its delivery options from Not On The High Street's delivery guide. Standard delivery takes 1 to 3 business days from dispatch and is free on most products, otherwise £3.99 per seller. Express tracked delivery takes 1 business day from dispatch and costs £4.99 per seller. Fragile, large, heavy, perishable or high-value items are priced on the product page. Personalised and made-to-order items can take up to 30 days to make, so check the product page for dates.

  2. What is Not On The High Street's returns policy?

    Our answer

For most items you have 28 days from delivery to tell the seller you want to return or exchange, then 14 days to send it back. Ask through 'My orders' in your account (guest shoppers use the customer service request form) and post it to the seller's own address, not Not On The High Street's Bristol office. You pay return postage unless the item is faulty or the seller offers free returns. Personalised, perishable and commissioned items, and hygiene-sealed items once opened, can't be returned. The seller refunds within 14 days of receiving the item back.

  3. Does Not On The High Street do a student discount?

    Our answer

Yes. Not On The High Street gives students 10% off through UNiDAYS: verify your student status with UNiDAYS, which is free to join, to unlock the discount, then enter it at the payment stage of checkout. Only one discount can be used per order.

  4. Is Not On The High Street legit?

    Our answer

Not On The High Street is run by Notonthehighstreet Enterprises Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 05591382) with its registered office in Bristol. It's a marketplace: your contract is with the individual seller, it never holds the items itself, and it takes your payment as the seller's agent. It accepts major debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna. For most items you have 28 days from delivery to tell the seller you want to return them, but personalised, perishable and commissioned items can't be returned.
