Costa Club Signing in, the app, Apple Wallet and your card number

Costa Club is the free rewards scheme at Costa, run by Costa Limited. You get a Bean for each handcrafted drink you buy in Costa stores and at Costa Express machines in Great Britain (not Northern Ireland), and ten Beans turn into a free drink. Members also get personalised offers, such as money off coffee and pastries.

Free. I keep your card's barcode ready for the till. I'm not Costa's app, so I can't see your points.

Beans are personal to you

I read these on Costa's own help pages and terms on 13 October 2026. Each answer below has its sources.

How do I register my Costa Club card and sign in?

Short answer: In the app or online

Join in the Costa Coffee Club app or online, as long as you're over 16. If you picked up a Costa Club card in a Costa store, create an account to join with it, or register it in the app. Members sign in in the app or in a browser.

Is there a Costa Club card app?

Short answer: Yes, the Costa app

Yes, the Costa Coffee Club app: at the till, open it, tap 'Shop' and scan the QR code it shows. New members don't get a plastic card, but if you already have a Costa Club card you can keep using it alongside the app. Swaps rewards and Costa Express machines need the app, not the card.

Can I add my Costa Club card to Apple Wallet?

Short answer: Yes, from the Costa app

Yes, from the Costa Coffee Club app on an iPhone. Its App Store listing says you can keep your Costa Club card in the app or add it to your Apple Wallet, and the app's licence lists this for members who are allowed a Costa Club card. I couldn't find step-by-step instructions on Costa's own pages.

Where do I find my Costa Club card number?

Short answer: In your Costa Club account

Sign in to your Costa Club account to see it. Costa says your card number shows there beside a digital account number made when you registered, and the two are synced, so your Beans still add up in one place. The Costa Coffee Club app also shows your Costa Club card number if you have a card.

I've lost my Costa Club card. What do I do?

Short answer: Keep using the app

Keep collecting Beans with the Costa Coffee Club app, and if you can't use the app, contact Customer Services through the contact form. The terms say to report a lost or stolen card in the “Lost or damaged card” section of the website once you're logged in. If Costa agrees to a replacement, it moves your Beans onto it and aims to send it to your registered home address within five working days.

Can I add my Costa Club card to Google Wallet?

Short answer: Yes, from the Costa app

Yes, from the Costa Coffee Club app on Android. Its Google Play listing says you can keep your Costa Club card in the app or add it to Google Wallet; the app's older licence calls it Google Pay and lists it for members who are allowed a Costa Club card. I couldn't find step-by-step instructions on Costa's own pages.

Can I share my Costa Club card points with family?

Short answer: No, but gift free drinks

No, not Beans. Costa's terms say Beans are personal to you, can't be pooled with another member's and are non-transferable. Once ten Beans become a free drink Reward, though, you can share that Reward with a friend through ‘Gift a Reward’ in the Costa Coffee Club app, up to five at a time. Check your card's terms.

Can I get a second Costa Club card for my household?

Short answer: One membership per person

Each Costa Club membership is for one person. The terms say a membership can only be registered in the name of an individual, and each person may register only one. New members don't get a plastic card at all: they use the app. Check your card's terms.

Can someone else use my Costa Club card?

Short answer: Beans are personal to you

Costa's terms say Beans are personal to you and that a membership is registered to one individual. Under unauthorised access, they warn that if someone else accesses your membership through the app, you may lose your Beans. To treat someone, ‘Gift a Reward’ in the Costa Coffee Club app sends them a free drink in their own app. Check your card's terms.

I checked these answers against Costa's own pages on 13 October 2026. Schemes change their rules, so check your card's terms before you count on one.

Can I keep my Costa Club card on my phone with Vouchernaut?

Yes, free. Scan its barcode at vouchernaut.com/cards, or take a photo of it, and it's saved with the barcode drawn sharp for the till. Without an account it stays on that phone; a free account keeps it if you change phones.

Does Vouchernaut add my Costa Club card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?

No. Vouchernaut keeps your card in its own wallet in your browser and doesn't make Apple Wallet or Google Wallet passes. For Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, see what Costa says above.

Can my family use my Costa Club card from Vouchernaut?

Yes, if you share it: start a free family, invite the people you shop with and tap Share on the card. It shows on their phones until you stop sharing. Every scheme sets its own rules on who can use a card, so sharing is your call. Check your card's terms.

Will the till scan my Costa Club card from my phone?

Most tills read barcodes from a phone screen. Vouchernaut draws the barcode again sharp and checks it reads back as your number before it's marked ready for the till. If one struggles, turn your screen brightness up, or read out the number underneath.

Does Vouchernaut see my points or what I buy?

No. It keeps your card's barcode and number to show at the till. It doesn't read your points or balance, track what you buy or sell anything on.
