Bedeck says it began in 1951, when Alexander Irwin started embellishing handkerchiefs. He turned that skill into a service that people around the world came to rely on to make their homes their own, and the company still talks about heritage, family and trust. It is based in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, and sells online and through its own stores.
The design
The brand says it is one of only a handful of organisations that still has its own in-house textile design studio, with a team that paints, draws, prints and weaves. It also curates other designers, and says it only deals with suppliers who treat their workers fairly.
The range
Bed linen is the core, from duvet covers and sheets to pillowcases, in fibres such as cotton, percale, sateen, Egyptian cotton and silk. You can shop by thread count, colour and brand. Beyond the bed there are curtains, towels, throws, cushions, hot water bottles, loungewear, home fragrance and kitchen and dining. Delivery
Standard delivery covers the UK and Ireland, and a signature is required by the courier.
