Photobox: shoppers' questions

Questions about Photobox, answered by us and by readers who've shopped there.

  1. Does Photobox do an NHS or blue light discount?

    Our answer

Yes, through Blue Light Card. Blue Light Card lists Photobox as an official partner, with a members-only discount for verified members. NHS workers are eligible, including retired staff, along with emergency services, police, armed forces, teachers and social care workers. Membership costs £4.99 for two years. Log in to Blue Light Card to see the current Photobox offer, then apply it at checkout.

  2. Is Photobox legit?

    Our answer

Photobox is run by Photobox Ltd, registered with Companies House under number 03906401, with its registered office at 10 Back Hill, London. It takes bank cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Because its products are personalised, there's no right to cancel for a change of mind, though its help centre says you can ask customer service to cancel within 4 hours of ordering. If something arrives faulty or not as ordered, its terms give you a free repair or replacement, or a refund if that isn't possible.

  3. Does Photobox have an app?

    Our answer

Yes. Photobox has an app, Photobox: Photo Books & Prints, free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and also on Google Play for Android. You can design photo books, calendars, wall art, cards and collages and order from your phone. Its help centre says the app is simpler than the online creator, with fewer editing options, and saves app projects other than cards on your device rather than in your account, though projects started online can be continued in the app.

  4. How much is Photobox delivery?

    Our answer

Delivery isn't included in Photobox's prices and depends on the product and speed. Standard UK home delivery is £3.99 for prints, cards, calendars, posters and gifts such as mugs, £4.99 for a photo book and £5.99 for wall art. Fast Tracked and Express cost more, for example £6.49 and £7.99 for a photo book. Extra items of the same type to the same address add a smaller charge, and extra photo prints add nothing. Large orders under its bulk scheme, such as 10 or more photo books, ship free to the UK and Ireland; you apply to Photobox for it.
