The story
Pitod is a genderless brand based in London. It says it was built on two ideas: helping people express who they are, and treating the planet well. Its clothes are cut to fit everyone, in one size run, rather than split into men's and women's lines.
The range
Everyday pieces make up most of it: T-shirts and vests, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers and shorts, plus caps and tote bags. Many carry small embroidered or illustrated designs, from animals to rainbow prints, and there are gift cards for anyone who'd rather let someone else choose.
Made to order
Pitod says it doesn't mass-produce. Each item is made in small quantities after you order, which it says cuts down on waste and unsold stock. The company says it uses GOTS-certified organic cotton and recycled materials, and that it works with factories running largely on renewable energy.
Ethics
Pitod is a certified B Corporation and a Living Wage Employer, and a member of 1% for the Planet. Good On You, the fashion rating site, rates it Good. Pitod also says it gives a share of sales to Rainforest Foundation UK, which is behind its Rainforest Collection.
Delivery
Delivery is carbon-offset and the company ships worldwide. Its shipping page lists the delivery fee and expected time for each region, and because items are made after you order, it's worth reading that page before you need something by a set date.
Returns
UK returns are free: once a return is approved, Pitod's portal issues a prepaid label. Items need to be unworn, with tags and in the original packaging, and you should ask for the return before posting anything back. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned, and customers outside the UK pay their own return postage.
Saving
Live codes for Pitod are listed on this page. Copy one and enter it at checkout. Pitod also runs a student discount and a newsletter offer for first orders, and its terms say sale items are excluded from returns.
