    Our answer

    Yes. The MyDyson app is free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and is on Google Play. Its App Store listing says it controls and tracks connected Dyson machines, such as robot vacuums, purifiers, fans and lighting, gives setup, troubleshooting and styling guides, tracks filter life, and lets you speak to a Dyson Expert.

  2. Does Dyson do a student discount?

    Yes. Dyson offers a student discount through UNiDAYS: any student with a verified UNiDAYS account can get it by registering, verifying their student status and opening the discount from UNiDAYS's Dyson page. UNiDAYS says the amount varies by deal and usually applies to full-priced items, and sale items or some ranges may be excluded.

  3. What is Dyson's returns policy?

    Dyson gives 35 days from delivery to return machines for a change of mind, including vacuums, hair care and lighting, and 14 days for purifiers, fans and heaters. Start in its Self Service Return Portal, and Dyson collects the machine free. Oral care products with a hygiene seal can go back only while the seal is intact, cosmetics, cleaning solutions and oral care formulations only unopened, and personalised products not at all. Tools and accessories go back at your own cost. A full refund needs every accessory, attachment and promotional gift that came with the machine, and Dyson refunds within 14 days of the return.

  4. How much is Dyson delivery?

    Delivery of Dyson machines to the UK mainland is free. Orders placed before 9pm are dispatched the same day for next working day delivery to UK addresses, between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday, and orders after 9pm arrive within 2 days. Personalised machines are dispatched within 2 to 3 days, and some rural and island postcodes, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Wight, take up to 2 working days, or 3 days for orders placed after 9pm. Accessories and spare parts cost £3.00 postage on orders of £35 or under, by standard delivery in 3 to 5 working days. Click and collect at Dyson stores is free.
