Greenera: what to know before you buy
Choosing between the main ranges
The store groups its stock into planting and growing products, watering and lawn care tools, and outdoor furniture. If you are starting from scratch, planters, raised beds and a hose reel cover most early needs. Check the size and weight of larger structures before ordering, as heavier items sit in a separate delivery group.
Heavy items and delivery timing
Lighter items may qualify for next-business-day delivery when ordered before 3:00 p.m. UK time on a business day. Heavier and bulky products such as tilting parasols, zero gravity recliners, trestle tables and larger wooden planters use a standard service with an estimated 2 to 3 business days. Check the delivery estimate at checkout, as a basket with mixed items may arrive in separate parcels.
Returns if something is not right
The store offers a 30-day change-of-mind return window, but you pay the return postage for unwanted items and that cost is not refunded. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are handled differently, with reasonable return postage covered. Keep proof of postage for any return and use a tracked service.
Practical tips before you buy
If you are buying furniture for a patio, consider how you will get it into position, since heavy items arrive on a slower service and you will need a suitable spot to receive them. For planters and raised beds, measure your space first so the footprint suits the layout you have in mind.

Artificial Grass Direct
Artificial Grass Direct sells artificial grass in a range of pile heights and styles, from soft garden lawns to tougher sports surfaces. It also supplies fitting accessories such as weed membrane, adhesive, joining tape and fixing pins. This profile looks at how the main products differ and what to weigh up before buying.
Buy Sheds Direct
Buy Sheds Direct is a UK supplier focused on garden buildings, covering sheds, log cabins, garden storage and summer houses. It suits anyone looking to add a practical or relaxing structure to a garden, patio or outdoor area without having to source each piece separately.
Gardenesque
Gardenesque sells garden furniture, plant pots and outdoor features, with a strong focus on terracotta and glazed pots and weather-resistant seating. The range leans towards pieces meant to stay outside for years, and its UK courier arrangements matter for large items.
Gardening Direct
Gardening Direct is a mail-order supplier of garden plants, bulbs and seasonal stock, run from its own nursery in Lincolnshire. It is aimed at shoppers who want live plants delivered to their door rather than collected from a local centre, with plenty of guidance for less experienced gardeners.
Gardenista
Gardenista sells outdoor cushions, seat pads and water-resistant covers for garden furniture, from rattan sets and sun lounger cushions to chair pads with ties. Its pages describe made-to-order production in Birmingham, so checking sizing and colour before ordering is worth the time.
Hayloft Plants
Hayloft Plants sells garden plants alongside gardening accessories, and shoppers buy from it online. If you are filling borders, pots or a patio, it is a sensible place to compare what is available before you commit to an order.
Mint Outdoor
Mint Outdoor sells rattan and aluminium garden sofas, corner sets and dining sets, with many ranges made to order rather than stocked in a warehouse. The practical questions for UK buyers are delivery timing, which postcodes are excluded, assembly costs and how returns work for large, heavy pieces.
Selections
Selections is a UK garden and outdoor living retailer, with a range that runs from raised beds and planters to garden furniture covers and bird feeders. Its homepage also points to homeware and household storage. The useful way in is to start from the job: a plot to fill, a wildlife space to support, or a bulky outdoor item to protect.
