See Tickets: what to know before you buy
Matching the event to the listing
See Tickets covers several kinds of live entertainment, so start by deciding what you want to see. A music festival, a club night, a theatre production and a comedy show are all listed here, but each category has different booking habits. Knowing the category helps you judge whether the listing fits what you are after.
Checking the date and format
Before booking, confirm the event name, date and format on the listing page. Festivals and multi-day events can have several ticket types, while theatre and comedy tend to be single performances. Read the listing carefully so you pick the right date and type rather than the nearest match.
Comparing the range
Because the site spans music, theatre, comedy and sport, it can be useful for seeing what is on across different categories in one place. If you are comparing options, look at the venue and the event page together, since the same event may appear through more than one seller.
Booking with confidence
Review the full ticket details before checkout, including the event time and any entry conditions shown on the page. Keep your confirmation somewhere easy to find so you have the event details ready on the day.
