Shopping with Pedal Go
Choosing the right type of e-bike
Start with the journeys you actually make. The site groups its range into folding, cargo, fat-tyre, mountain and hybrid styles, and each suits a different job. A folding model is most useful if you need to store the bike in a flat or lift it into a car boot, while a cargo bike suits school runs or regular shopping loads. Fat-tyre designs give a wider contact patch for loose surfaces, but they are heavier to handle on the pavement.
Understanding delivery costs and timing
Delivery is free on UK orders of £200 or more, and smaller orders carry a £5 charge. Because the store pre-authorises your payment and confirms stock with its supplier before taking payment, your card is not charged the moment you order. The stated aim is to dispatch within 5 working days where stock is available, with delivery usually taking 3 to 5 working days after that. If tracking details have not arrived within 6 working days, you are asked to get in touch.
Checking cancellation and returns before you order
You can cancel free of charge before dispatch. After delivery, you can cancel for any reason by telling the store within 14 days of receiving the order, and you then have a further 14 days to send the item back. Please contact the store before posting anything, as it will provide the return address and instructions. Bikes are large and heavy, so the outbound and return postage can be significant. The refund policy gives rough return costs for the cargo ranges, and the store suggests asking for a quote before ordering if you are unsure. Faulty or wrong items are handled differently, with the store covering return costs.
Warranty and manufacturer guidance
Any fault arising from normal use as set out in the manufacturer's manual may be eligible for a repair or replacement under warranty. Faults caused by misuse are excluded, so reading the manual before your first ride is worth the time. Personalised or made-to-order bikes are generally excluded from change-of-mind returns, and the product page should make this clear.
